Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city
Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to Foundation for a Drug-Free World Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, engaging youth, families and educators via street information stands and news europe war community events. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present clear information on commonly abused substances, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. A short report is available via a published overview.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—supporting both community well-being and European civic values.”
